Rediscover wise flavours from the past and taste the young future! You are welcome in our restored listed building or outside on the terrace with beautiful views over the Zaanse meadows.
We like to start the day with fresh pastries from our baker friend Lex Brakenhoff, with whom we share our premises. With that, we drink delicious Pure Coffee (or something else), which is roasted in the prison a few kilometres away. We have lunch with Lex's farmhouse breads, which chef Syl, for instance, toppings with his homemade trout salad, pulled aubergine or thinly sliced roast beef from the organic cows you can see walking from our garden. Or simply with a good croquette.

Lunch flows smoothly into burgundy drinks with our own 'Wijs Jochie' beer, special wines and appetisers. And then the finale: dinner! Chef Syl prefers to work with local farmers and makers.

Besides a heerlijk restaurant, you can also stay overnight at Jongwijs. They have beautiful rooms with views of the Zaanse landscape where you can completely unwind!

Whether it's an inspiring brainstorming session, meeting, training or multi-day team day, groups will find peace, space and focus in the characteristic monument and among the Zaan meadows. The team is happy to help you devise a tailor-made programme, from coffee and fresh pastries to an extensive lunch, drinks or dinner. Those wishing to extend the meeting can stay overnight in one of the comfortable rooms overlooking the landscape. Thus, a business day becomes not only productive, but also particularly tasteful.
