Accessibility
The Zaan region is closer than you think. Just above Amsterdam, right on the A7/A8, along the Zaan, with as many as six train stations and the necessary cycling and walking paths, our beautiful region is easily accessible.

By bike
The express cycle path from Amsterdam takes you to Zaanstad in 15 minutes. From other villages and towns in the area, the Zaan region is also very doable by (electric) bike.

With six train stations no less, you can almost always get off near your destination.
Zaandam station, for example, puts the city centre full of neo-Zaanse architecture at your feet and from Zaanse Schans/ Zaandijk station you can walk to the world-famous attraction of the same name.

Zaanstreek is located along the A7/A8 motorway, making it easily accessible by car.
You can park in one of the garages in the city centre(via Q-park), along the road or in car parks. Often paid, but sometimes free, such as on the Hembrug site.
