Stoomschip de Elfin
Built in 1933 as a torpedo recovery vessel for the English navy, the Elfin has been owned by the Steamship Preservation Foundation since 1995. The Foundation has restored her to her original condition as a tribute to this Historical Sailing Heritage. The Elfin is a small wonder that still sails under its own power today!
You can visit the special ship every Saturday from about 11:00 to 16:00. The berth is Zuideinde t/o 38 in Wormerveer.
Please note that there is not always someone on board. If you come from far away, it is better to enquire first.
