Wol in de kast
Since 1 February 2025, the Zaanbocht has gained a unique shop. Judith Kossen (56), born and raised in Zaan, opened her dream shop at Zaanweg 105. "I thought: if I have to work for another twelve years, I want something that will make me really happy. And that became Wol in de kast."
Judith's shop breathes quality and sustainability. "No fast fashion or changing seasonal collections, but timeless pieces you can enjoy for years."
The name? That one already caused a few surprised faces. "People thought I was selling wool for knitting. But no, with me the wool is already in the closet - as beautiful garments!"
She is enthusiastically received in the Zaan region. "Customers say the shop has such a nice atmosphere. And that's exactly what I wanted: a place where people feel welcome."
