Bed & Breakfast
The B&B has three double guest rooms. The sanitary facilities are shared. The owner has converted the former cowshed into a kitchen diner, where you can cook and sit out on the terrace through the garden doors. Dogs, cats, chickens, horses and ponies roam in and around the farm. Guests are also allowed to bring their own pets on request.

Location
The Barkenhoeve is about 15 minutes by car from the Zaanse Schans, twenty minutes from Amsterdam and about half an hour from Edam, Monnickendam, Volendam and Marken. In the beautiful village of Jisp, you can rent boats and canoes. It is also possible to rent bicycles on request. You can even moor your boat at the Barkenhoeve meadow. Or go skating in winter!
