Zaandijkerkerk
Thanks to the efforts of heritage enthusiasts, the Zaandijkerkerk has been saved from demolition. It has been repurposed as residential accommodation for young people with autistic disabilities, with the church still easily experienced as a building with a publicly accessible tower. We hope this destination can serve as an inspiration for many other churches that are (or will be) empty.
