Neckermolen
This ground-sailer was probably built in 1554 to drain part of the Wijdewormer. In 1631, it was moved to its current location to drain the newly diked polders of Wormer, Jisp and Neck, which it still does today. The original scoop wheel was replaced by an upright auger around 1835 and rebuilt into a normal auger mill again in 1894. In about 1876, the mill received steel sails, which were renewed in 1964.
The Jisper mills and the Poolmolen remained in operation for almost 250 years. In 1878, they were decommissioned, then also demolished. From then on, the Zuidoostzaandammerbinnenpolder was drained by the oil mill De Zwaan, built in 1878. The Oosterweeren pumping station was built on the site of the Poolmolen in 1925. In 1930, the polder pumping station near Jisp, which was completed in 1909 and later expanded, took over the drainage of the Zuidoostzaandammer Binnenpolder.
